Professional experience for Attorney J. Douglas Parks includes private practice in three major areas: 1. real estate, banking, commercial and residential lending, foreclosures and workouts for such clients as Branch Banking and Trust and its affiliate banks as well as recently with AmSouth; 2. governmental practice including land use and zoning litigation for and against local governments, as well as various governmental tasks while with the University of Georgia in Athens; and 3. international practice which has included matters involving utilities in Spain and Latin America, as well as work on behalf of Ancore, an international security technology firm. The fourth and developing area of practice is public policy, which is being enhanced by the addition of Benjamin Parks to the firm. Ben has developed his skills with his firm CPS Strategies in which he worked with such firm clients as Perry Ellis, Chevron Texaco, Deloitte & Touche, John Deere and others.
